Copenhagen 19/6 2021. 37,5 cl heavy glass bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Vault City's usual design with the lattice gate in a red, orange and green version.
Pours murky orange with a small white head. settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with a tart slightly citric sent. Peach, mango and honey melon. Gooseberries and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and sharp. Lingers for a while. Finish is vinous and dry.
A tropical nose and a tart, sour aftertaste. Well done.
