Pitch Black Dessert Sour - Smooth as velvet, black as night. Introducing an evolution of our jet-black dessert sour that defies expectations. Inspired by a traditional red velvet cake, we’ve blended juicy blackberries, cherries, velvety chocolate, smooth caramel and creamy vanilla in every sip. The darker half of our Velvet duo: Black Velvet, if you please.

Copenhagen 17/12 2025. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive,, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S, Black can with the logo of the brewery in gold and the name of the beer in white letters.
Pours opaque murky mahogany with a mid-sized off-white head- Settles as a thin patch of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with sweet and perfumed and a little floral scent with tart notes. Sweet ripe cherries and blackberries berries. Lactose and brown sugar. hint of vanilla. Citrus and sour milk.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, soft and viscous, fat, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a little sharp, Lingers for a while. Finish is creamy with a tart touch.
Delicious, soft, well-balanced and creamy.
