This is one of those Australian 'supermarket' beers, that is sold by Pinnacle Drinks, owned by Woolworths (BWS & Dan Murphys), but contracted out to smaller breweries. Woolworths and Coles are trying to crack into the Craft Beer market, and this is their strategy. I suppose it's still classified as 'Craft Beer', as this is brewed down in Goulburn, NSW by Tribe Breweries.
Look: Pale golden in colour, filtered looking slightly lighter than a standard Australian adjunct lager. Head is non existent, almost a bubbly soft-drink head that dissipated almost immediately.
Smell: Slight grassy hope aroma, similar to find what you're going to find in the mass produced brands - suggesting the use of Pride of Ringwood hops, grain, corn, and pale malt. Smells like a standard Aussie lager.
Taste: Has a refreshing hop flavour, slightly bitter, grainy, grassy notes. Bit of malt sweetness, but nothing overpowering.
Feel: It's clean, it's highly carbonated and can argue for it's refreshment. It's body is thin, and a little watery. At 4.2% ABV, not surprised by that.
Overall: It drinks like a generic Australian mass produced lager. It's clean, it's crisp but it's nothing fancy. A decent lawn mower beer if you're not wanting anything complicated.
