Look: It pours brown with a tan head. Head retention is moderately low.

Smell: It has aromas of bread and crusts with a low background note of toffee. There is also a low bit of spice as well.

Taste: The flavors have bread and crust with toffee. There are some nut flavors with a low level os spice.

Feel: It has a medium low body with the balance towards the malt.

Overall, good malt flavors with it being somewhat sweet, but not overly sweet.

A: Pours an opaque yet still clear very mark mahogany approaching black in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate chestnut brown + cola brown + ruby red colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy beige head that reduces to a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of lightly roasted + chocolate + caramel + bready malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. Light aromas of floral + spicy + earthy hops and a very light aroma of lager yeast.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of lightly roasted + chocolate + caramel + bready malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lager yeast. Finally there are light flavors of floral + spicy + earthy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades pretty quickly leaving a relatively clean finish.

M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a relatively clean finish. Slightly thin/watery.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol though a touch thin/watery in the mouthfeel. Enjoyable complexity of malt flavors and aromas with just enough hop presence to balance it out. Nice initial offering from this brewery - will be looking to check out some additional offerings as they become available to me.
