Pale pastel gold with a voluminous head and audibly crackling foam on the surface. Plenty of lacing in the glass as the foam ebbs away.
Aroma has a slight hint of sulfuric rubber funk, punctuated by white peach juice. Taste is very mild, tart peach and white grapes, very mellow carbonation. More like white wine than a sour ale, light bodied and juicy, it’s lacking some carbonation. Still it’s fruity and refreshing. Overall though I prefer the more assertive dry-hopped tropical qualities of The Islands of Sabro.
