L: Poured into a 16oz pilsner glass . The thick white head dissipates somewhat quickly to a thick lacing that lasts half way through . Then it’s a thin lacing to finish. It’s hazy , and dark gold .
S: I’m getting lots of clove , spice , and hint of ripe banana .
T: Hints of spice , and clove upfront , Lots of banana on the finish . Subtle spice and clove on the finish.
F: medium carbonation . Light body . Somewhat dry finish .
Overall I think this beer is good, a little underwhelming , but it’s good. Would I buy again ? I don’t see why not , but I have a lot of other go to’s .

Nucleated Tulip
Look: Slightly hazy yellow-brown, which pulls a 2 finger head which is smooth and fluffy. Dissipates to a thin cover after 3ish min
Smell: Citrus zest, yuzu, wheat malt, honey tea. Very floral and citrusy.
Taste: Very neutral at the start. Some white bread/wheat notes, some baking spices, bitter citrus and some sort astringent untoasted wheat notes on the tail. Light hint of alcohol on the tail end as well.
Feel: med-silky mouth feel. Quite nice actually.
Overall: Its good, not outstanding though. I don't think I would buy again but its alright.

Poured into a weizen glass. Pours a light to medium golden yellow with light haze and a thin white head that dissipates to patches. Aroma of wheat, clove and light lemon/yuzu; oddly the clove has a coriander character. Flavor is grainy, husky wheat malt, clove and yuzu (notes of both orange and lemon); mild wheat husk astringency in the finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. I've never put lemon in my hefeweizens in the past, wanting to taste the grains, but I can see why it would be refreshing and a good combo. In this case, it's hard to detect what the underlying hefe would be like with no yuzu, but it seems to be a lighter malt body than many hefes. Not much banana, the clove and wheat husk dominate the flavor. Yuzu is a pleasant adjunct flavor in lighter ales and does seem to add some interest to this one. A satisfactory, but light malt hefeweizen.
