A - Pours out initially clear, but clouds as the can is emptied, with a rich brown color, a light tan head that forms up into a thin cap, some minor lacing.
S - Very soft fruit and spice, vanilla emphasizing the dessert quality of the brew, but indistinct. Not unpleasant, but also not particularly notable.
T - Follows the nose, but with stronger malt note underpinning a fruity sweetness. The spice comes in, suggesting baked pears in a cinnamon and vanilla sauce, which I believe is the goal. The finish comes in a bit tannic, with fruit skin and cinnamon bark bitterness that is a bit harsh, and detracts from what was an interesting experience to that point.
M - The feel here is light on the tongue, and would be quite successful if there was not a gritty spice note in the finish.
O - This is a beer in two halves. The first half is a lovely brown with fruit and spice flavors that I'd recommend, the second is a taxing, bitter, sandy finish that leaves me a bit flat. I wish they could produce the first without finishing with the second.

Sweet. A bit of a chore to drink, to be honest.
