Poured from 500mL can into a dimpled mug. Canned 12/11/24.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with plenty of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: some nice citrus peel and pine, but the malt lacks the heavier, sweeter punch of a typical hazy IPA. For a 4.9% beer, it does have a decent amount of flavor, but by the standards of the advertised style it's rather light.
Taste: the flavor comes through a little better than the aroma. Atop a lightly sweet malt base is a citrusy, earthy, and just this side of dank hop flavor. It's pretty well put-together ... I'm digging it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess. It's lightness is doing it no favors here.
Overall: pretty tasty, and very drinkable at 4.9%, although too light for the style.
