Brewed with NYS Pale malt and Vienna Malt, with a blend of NYS Cascade and Nugget Hops. Light hop bitterness with a lemon citrus character.

The head is big and rocky, with an almond tint. Rising to two inches, it gradually compresses, leaving a wake of webbing on a PBGC Pub Pint Glass. The beer has a light haze to its amber/orange color (SRM 8-10).
Spicy hops are quite pleasant up front, followed by plenty of pine resin shining through citrus pith. The background is composed almost entirely of mandarin oranges.
This beer is surprisingly less bitter than expected from its aroma. Sweet malts push out all semblance of citrus. Caramel and possibly sourdough are readily discernible. Straw is also obvious against a long, faint-to-mild finish. Warmth does reveal mild orange.
This beer is smooth, with a soft-to-medium body. ABV is below expectation, while the carbonation is fine and light.
This is a good starter IPA. I enjoyed it while outside on an overcast, late Spring afternoon.
