Brewed with NYS Newport Hops, creating a mild hop aroma. Chocolate malts lend most of the flavor, with dark chocolate and caramel notes.

Pours dark copper with a light khaki, fine foam head. The head reaches one and a half inches and holds for a few minutes before settling at one-quarter inch for the duration. A veil of lace coats the PBGC "Sparkles" Mug.
Aroma is dominated by malt. Light toast with lots of nuts, like peanuts and Brazil nuts. Also apparent are faint hops and, with warmth, light plums.
The nuts are front and present in the flavor. They hold throughout and into the finish. Biscuit crackers, light toasted malt, and charred caramel finish out the middle. Light citrus lingers just before a moderate level and never stops. There is a hint of coconut with warmth.
A medium to light body and nylon texture. This beer is watery with no alcohol. Modest, fizzy carbonation spotlights light metallic notes.
This beer is good for drinking after work, and I imagine would work well while watching a ballgame. In my opinion, Puffin Daddy would score better as a Brown Ale.
This beer was for Father's Day, because my father has a thing for those goofy little birds.
