Copenhagen 18/8 2021. 44 cl can from Vinens Verden, Slotsgade, Odense C. Black can with the name of the beer in dramatic letters and red claw marks. They do make a dramatic pont at S43.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Settles as thin but consistent layer crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor mingling with a strong smoky and peaty scent. Dark roasted malts, salty bacon, smoked whisky, licorice.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, smooth, soft viscous, fat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness mingling with a lighter salty bitterness. Aftertaste is salty with a bitter twist. Lingering. Finish is fairly dry.
Quite intense and the smoke comes through despite a quite intense aroma and flavor. Quite pleasant for a Beast.

Canned in a big old tallboy crafty craft can and purchased from Timperley village Bargain Booze
Pours a jet black body with pretty decent tan head
Aroma is big old cup of really red roasted joe
Flavour is that aroma with some earthy chilli without the heat notes
Solid body
