Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet cookies notes with some vanilla notes is quite enticing. Taste is a good mix of sweet cookie notes with some vanilla notes and residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol notes. Enjoyable pasty stout even though residual sugar shows a bit too much.
