Got this from Emma & Terry. Cheers!
From a 500ml bottle into a snifter
Collaboration with Reverence Barrel Works
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, medium looking, frothy off-white head with great retention. Deep ruby red body, clear, with piles of carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a full, creamy cap and clings to the glass. Swirly wisp remains leaving touches of lacing down the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Lots of dark fruits, raisins, dates, some plumb aromas, with caramel, light chocolate character, and plenty of spicy alcohol on the nose.
TASTE: Caramel and toffee with plenty of boozy alcohol up front, with a solid dose of dark and red fruits and alcohol heat at the swallow. Caramel, raisins, dates, berry flavors and prunes with a big dose of spicy alcohol linger after the swallow. Flavorful and bold.
PALATE: Medium-full body and medium carbonation on the palate. Creamy and frothy, enough weight, goes down smooth with a bit of a bite and finishes rather mouth-coating. A good dose of heat lingers.
OVERALL: Nice stuff. Like a quadruple. Lots of sweet, fruity flavor with a solid hit of booze to go with it. Nice feel as well. This is another good one from Third Moon and I can imagine the double barrel version is top notch as well. Give it a shot if you can. Thanks again guys!

Can: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of deep caramelized malt with some toffee notes and butterscotch. Taste is a mix of deeply caramelized malt with some toffee notes and butterscotch notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable English style barleywine.

A bit disappointing and harsh, but sippable. Needed something to smooth it out. The wood helped the product but also hurt it. Pity about the collaborator brewery.
