2nd Anniversary beer - one of eleven! From the brewery on Anniversary weekend. 375 ml waxed (pink) bottle.
Pours a thick, viscous black with reddish highlights at edge.
Aroma is caramel, rich chocolate, and a note of the bourbon - touch of molasses.
Rich chocolate, caramel, vanilla on the palate with a warming boozy bourbon kick. Sweet but not cloying.
Rich, sweet, boozy, warming full mouthfeel - bourbon soaked chocolate cake. Delicious - but this was split between three and perfect serving size.
