maple syrup really brings out the bourbon one year barrelling. Thickish mouthfeel. On tap at the source. Dangerously drinkable, though much sweetness.

Thick dark black looking pour, minimal to no visible carbonation. Minimal light brown brown ring forms around the glass.
Big fudge chocolate nose, oaky bourbon, woody , some coffee and touch of maple.
Taste is similar but I get much more of the woody bourbon note, there is a rich rich coffee flavor; chocolatey coffee. There is a lingering maple flavor in the background.
Big body that has some thickness to it, little bit of bitter roast on the finish, maple sweet sensation on the tongue. Minimal to no heat, very well hidden.
This is a really balanced and good sipping beer; it’s not overpowering. The maple and coffee balance each other out very nicely.

Pours a thick oily black with essentially no head to speak of - dark brownish film clings to the glass..
Smells of boozy maple fudge brownie batter, notes of coffee and dark chocolate.
Tastes of sweetened coffee, brownie with maple and a definite boozy kick - notes of bourbon barrel along with some dark fruit and chocolate.
Thick, almost oily mouthfeel - super rich, sweet with a little bit of boozy heat but smooth; a touch warming.
