473 ml can. Thanks Sal. Served well chilled into a chalice.
Appearance - Jet and ominous black, with two fingers of deep tan head that fizzles out in half a minute. No lacing to speak of.
Smell - Sweet cinnamon roll aroma. Cinnamon, some brown sugar. Maybe a hint of raisin.
Taste - Initially some roasty notes, then the pastry comes in with sweet flavors, cinnamon and a hint of pastry. Finishes more bitter with molasses and dark chocolate. Quite balanced. A bit boozy, but subdued enough
Mouthfeel - Medium full bodied, light carbonation and semi boozy finish. Sort of dry.
Overall - Pretty good imperial stout. Not too boozy, Good flavored pastry stout that's not to sweet, but still hits the cinnamon roll flavor.
