Oatmeal stout with hazelnut, cacao nibs, baci, and ladyfingers. How did they manage at just 6.5% ABV?
I'm suspicious of the effect.
Pours black with a lovely little head. Smells very metallic. I smell that, maybe some vanilla and...lager? What?
Heavily carbonated and it does kind of taste a bit like a confused lager. Very watery. But the shocking part is that it really doesn't taste like much of anything. Maybe the hazelnut comes through, but that's it.
And they did this in collaboration with Volo of all people?
Much respect to Volo, as well as Third Moon, but this is a disappointment. Not sure what happened here.

473 ml can served cool into a tulip. Canned August 17, 2022. Thanks Sal for this one.
Appearance - Very dark brown in color with two fingers of light tan or mocha head. Coalesces into a small half finger.
Smell - I get molasses and treacle, some chocolate and the hazelnut comes through pretty nicely at the end.
Taste - A little more treacle, some dark chocolate and the hazelnut at the end provides sweetness, nuttiness and balance. A touch harsh before that, smooth aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, creamy and light on carbonation. In all honesty a bit thinner than expected, but works well with the flavor profile. A bit bubbly on the close.
Overall - A rather solid and enjoyable oatmeal stout, the baci, ladyfingers and such are a bit disguised as I get a little more dark chocolate and some treacle. The hazelnut accent at the end really just pulls everything together and makes this quite a good beer. Well worth a try if you can find it.
