Third Moon Brewing

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus, tropical hops, with notes of grapefruit, orange, mango and papaya. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly grassy and dank hops, with citrus and tropical notes of grapefruit, orange, mango, papaya and passion fruit, as well as just a hint of grassy weed. Finishes with a light bitterness and some orange, mango and papaya lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This makes for a very vibrant and juicy New England IPA with distinct, quite zesty citrus and slightly acidic tropical notes, as well as just a hint of grassy, weedy notes as well. The hops really stand out wonderfully bright and well-defined here, giving this a great, fresh and juicy quality. Very fruity, but with a decent, subtle bitterness in the finish that goes great with the quite zesty feel of this.
