473 ml can served cold into a snifter. Durand purchase. Canned March 13, 2024.
Appearance - Very hazy yellowy gold brew with white-ish highlights. A finger and a half of tight white foam. Pretty decent staying power.
Smell - Orange and guava with a bit of a grassy funk. Fairly subdued.
Taste - Orange again with medium bitterness. Creamy element that makes this reminiscent of a bitter orange creamsicle. Some guava again in the back half and overlaid wheat malt base.
Mouthfeel - Fairly full bodied and creamy with low carbonation. Juicy but drinks fairly heavily, not the most crushable beer despite some of its crushable features.
Overall - A good solid Orange forward IPA, but would want a second sample of something a touch fresher to just see what kind of drop off has been experienced. Still solid and worth a try.
