I never had the regular or double Den of Thieves, but let's see how a triple comes through. I hope it's not as overambitious as the Quintuple Continuous Blood. I think a triple is where you top out an IPA's possibilities. Beyond that is detrimental.
Just my opinion.
Pours light orange and visibly thick. Slight, tight head. The nose is delicious citrus and light wood. Tamer than expected but perfect. Pillowy feel. Slightly malt front in the body, which is quite boozy and not quite balanced. Also a bit of hop burn.
Good beer, but not quite hitting all the right notes.
