Durand purchase. Served cold into a pint glass. Review from notes.
Appearance - An unappealing creamy, brownish mess that effectively looks like a melted root beer float. It looks thick and chunky. Small head is poured and fizzles away in moments.
Smell - Root beer 100% of the way, with some small creamy accents.
Taste - More root beer, with a pinch of ginger, some vanilla fading into obscurity and general root beer float flavors. ABV hidden completely.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and creamy, low carbonation, drinks like a low carbonation soft drink.
Overall - Everything here is good, just treat as an alcoholic root beer float. That has been executed very well, but with that said, is this really beer anymore? I don't know.
