From a 473ml can into a tulip
Double stout with Brazil natural Yellow Catuai coffee, vanilla beans and cacao nibs
APPEARANCE: Pours out clear black and yields a one finger, looser, fizzy, light tan head with solid retention. Head fizzes down to a fain wisp and ring. Black body with no real carbonation evident. A solid ring remains leaving no real lacing as it finishes.
SMELL: Lots of mocha aromas, roasted malts, some lovely vanilla cream and cacao beans on the nose here. Some caramel and butterscotch, as well as some light brownies too. Enticing.
TASTE: Mocha coffee up front, with clear vanilla beans, cacao beans, some roasted malts and brownies at the swallow. Bold finish with lots of vanilla character, roasted mocha, caramel and butterscotch sweetness, with some nice chocolate brownies to round it all off. This is quite delicious.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough on the palate, goes down fine smooth and finishes a touch mouth-coating. Some bitterness lingers. Solid feel.
OVERALL: Good stuff again. The vanilla and cacao additions make this an even more delicious treat. Well worth checking out, and a lovely addition to the family. Cheers!
