Dank, citrusy, and piney hops dominate this classic West Coast style IPA with just enough malt character like honey and stone fruit to provide a balanced sip.

Had Business Hippie (". . . Hippy" on crowler label) poured from crowler, label hand-dated "9/4," purchased on 09/05/2021 at TennFold, Nashville, into nonic pint.
Pours amber with clarity and 2-finger very light-tan head, with good retention, leaving splotchy lace down the glass. Aroma of piney hops and malt off pour, and then some sharp stone fruit, and as warms, dankness and, eventually, a little citrus. Begins smooth, malty, and sharp stone fruit, with hop bite only showing later, as a complement to the continuing malt.
Maltier than usual for a West Coast IPA, and not as fruity or bitter, but smooth.
