Had on tap at the brewery. Pours clear, gold in color with one quarter inch head. taste is black tea, pale malt, and light citrus. Light bod, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. Makes for a slightly above average pale. Drinkable, but nothing I would rush to get again.

A careful pour from a 16-oz. can released a finger of light beige creamy foam with long retention and one broad arch of lace. Semi-opaque, peach colored body with red-orange highlights.

White bread, toast and cracker with faint dough greet the nose. Fresh hops, both citrus and piney are even with the malt.

Semi-dry with a fast developing hop bitterness, a hint of fruit (citrus, pear and apple) sweetness is balanced buy warming alcohol. Items from the smell are bigger and very well balanced, piney hops and toast almost stand out. The finish is fast and clean, almost crisp as the hop bite rises to above average during the somewhat long aftertaste.

Medium-light bodied with soft and lasting carbonation that keeps the big flavors in check. A little on the dark and opaque side, high ABV (unobtrusive), bold West Coast hops and plenty of malt are well balanced. This Beer looks and drinks like a NEIPA (a drier one). it would rate higher in that category. How about a New England Imperial Pale Ale category, just kidding. Canned on 03/01/21.
