Tim and Lynn run a great little pub that fronts their brewery in one of north Salisbury’s industrial areas. Nice bar, 8 taps, a couple tables.
There is always a great vibe as locals and travelers mingle to relax and sip a few pints, but mostly to chat enthusiastically about good beer.
I really enjoy Tim’s interest in brewing beers across many styles…from IPAs and Saisons to Polish Grodziskies and Norwegian brews. A beer might by Double Dry Hopped or Smoked in order to enhance flavors of his base beers.
Tonight I also enjoyed a fresh sparkling ale that took me back to drinking Coopers Sparkling ales down under in Sidney.
The “small”ness of the place lends itself to a “friendly”ness and “cheerful”ness that reminds you of kicking back at a friends home and quaffing a few.
Great stop. Recommend checking out especially for those of you who might be visiting The Shore.
