Drinking this at The Copperhill Brewery in Downtown Copperhill Tennessee.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks dark brown almost black with a nice tannish foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap.
Smells malty sweet, molasses and bread.
Taste follows the nose nicely with enough spicy hoppiness to keep my interest.
Mouth feel is medium light for the style.
Overall a very nice example of a Dopplebock that I would definitely order again.
