The Story.
They say on the edge of every frontier, there’s always a Ranger standing guard. Some bore sabers, some bore rifles, and some bore only grit and an oath to protect what lay behind them. These Rangers carried more than weapons—they carried stories, scars, and the unyielding spirit of those who refuse to yield ground.
When Bear King Brewing joined forces with Ranger Creek, we tapped into that same frontier spirit. Together, we laid down a Kentucky Common, the beer of American resilience, into bourbon-soaked oak barrels forged by time and fire. Months passed, and the barrels kept silent watch, infusing the beer with deep caramel oak, whispers of vanilla, and the strength of good bourbon.
The result is Iron Ranger — a beer that stands as a sentinel of heritage, forged through collaboration, and brewed in honor of those who serve. Raise a glass to the guardians, past and present.
Drinkability.
Smooth yet sturdy, Iron Ranger pours dark copper with a toasty malt backbone lifted by bourbon-kissed oak. Notes of caramel, vanilla, and spice make it rich and warming, but its crisp finish keeps it surprisingly easy to return to pint after pint.
