Nyköping Brewing is one of a handful of breweries in Sweden that has a taproom. It’s housed in a former museum, with two distinct parts. One is the part where you order, where there are wooden benches and tables, as well as part of the actual brewery. This part is quite industrial, and functional. The other part is cozier with dimmer lighting and softer seating. There is also a large outdoor area. Service is quite Swedish, friendly without engaging too much.
Beer selection is pretty good, with 22 taps, about half of which are their own, and the rest are guests. Variety is good, with lots of styles represented. Nyköping’s own beers are good, but it seems like they really enjoy hopping the crap out of everything.
The food list contains everything from snacks to main courses as well as pizza. Didn’t eat, but I’ve heard good things.
Overall, worth a visit, if nothing else for the novelty of a Swedish taproom.
