this is fabulous beer for a brewery i had never heard of before, and honestly a top ranking beer from my recent wyoming trip, like this deserves to be seen, heard, tasted, recognized, and for all the poser beers out there using blood orange or at least claiming to, this one really delivers in that regard, and that its a really solid hefe underneath it all is cool too, the yeast loved the citrus, which is bold as heck but also very natural and as acidic and bitter as it is sweet, so juicy and good, wow, this impressed me a lot, especially as a morning beer, a shot of champagne and this is an epic mimosa. the pink color of the pour suggests real fruit, like how do you make a blood orange beer thats totally pale. that gives this instant cred. the base beer is good, the yeast is right, the body is there, and just a bit of wheat pushes through, but this is fruit driven, tangy even tart, not real sweet, bright as can be, the essence of summer, a shot of tequila and we have a wicked paloma. the citrus slays, the acidity works, the hefeweizen base is super clever, and for all the nickels ive collected in the last five years by having blood orange beer forced down my throat, i finally found one that seems to stand for something. they should be proud of this, its leagues ahead of almost all the rest of its peers! who the heck is mountain hops and where did this come from?! righteous summer drinker!

From a Crowler.

It pours a reddish colour with a great head of foam.

The smell is blood oranges, wheat, some notes of sweet and sour.

Taste is blood oranges, wheat, lightly tart, some sweetness. Tasty to me because I love blood oranges.

Medium body with medium carbonation.

Good stuff.
