Absolutely masterful delicious version of this series. Extremely well balanced and old school excellence with good bitterness. Very impressive and lasted in the can.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt with some black chocolate notes with some barrel-aging notes. Taste is mix of roasted malt with some black chocolate notes with no residual sugar notes with some strong woody notes with some barrel-aged notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation and some perceptible alcohol notes. Enjoyable but barrel-aging notes are a bit strong and finish is quite dry.
