Poured from a can into a pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a rapidly expanding and then vanishing tan head with big open bubbles. Body is deep brown and opaque.
Smell: Malt predominant with some hops. Dark fruit, roasted grain. Light cocoa.
Taste: Roasted malt, little bit of hops, some dark cacao, earthy flavors. Balanced bitterness. The finish tastes just a little bit off with an oddly bright flavor.
Feel: Pretty light bodied, with moderate carb. Hard to describe the finish -- neither dry nor creamy.
