Poured from a 12-oz can into a pint glass.
Appearance: Clear, very pale golden, with a significant white foamy head that dissipated only gradually, leaving adequate lacing.
Nose: Coffee with sweet cream, a bit of floral.
Mouthfeel: Medium, carbonation just about right.
Attack: This is the power of this ale — bread and gentle coffee, just sweet enough, and just enough hop bitterness in the attack to balance.
Finish: The mild hop bitterness continues after the attack flavor disappears.
Overall: This is a very drinkable ale, though I actually like Esoteric's Chrysalis (their cream ale without the coffee ) a little better.

Pours a golden color with two fingers of white foam. There is a mild haze to the transparency, but it's mostly clear. Aroma is coffee plopped right on the front end. Caramel, bready, and toasty malts set it up with a sugary, creamy undertone. Coffee is really pleasant. Flavor profile is much more malt forward, pushing grain, bready, toasty, and caramely malts with coffee behind. Coffee has a more green bean, raw note here. It's smooth, and endearing. Some smooth lager yeast rounds out the finish. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a crisp start that bubbles down to a watery, still texture at the finish. Overall, aroma really sings, but the rest doesn't quite compare. That said, it's an incredibly refreshing light ale option that puts coffee at the forefront.

Great beer! The coffee notes and smell are definitely forward in nature but the creamy mouthfeel and finish make it a cream ale. Impressed with this beer for sure!

At the brewery in a flight. Cream ale infused with coffee. Yummy!
