12 ounce can, no dating that I noticed on the can or label. Big thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing, too. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like bittersweet chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and some dark fruit. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of some caramel, coffee and cocoa nibs flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's coating and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was good overall stout, certainly worth trying if you're able to. Hope to visit there on my next trip to Cincy!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a dark
muddles blackish brown with a fantastic head of light brown foam that
settles to a thick ring, thick clumping layer, and shows excellent lacing.
Nose of dark cocoa, char, roast, and herbal / grassy hop notes. Flavors
follow but exceed with a nice presentation of dark cocoa, rich char, deep
roasted malts, dark coffee, and medium strong herbal and grassy hops.
Nice mouth feel; medium full body, medium light carbonation, and a
bitter malt and herbal hop finish.

Overall---a solid offering!

Cheers
