I got three cans of this beer from a mixed german beer 12pck that i bought at the brewery whilst there visiting my youngest at the UC! It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle grainy notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base with grain and german hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

12 ounce can, no dating on the can that I noticed. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a dimpled mug, the brew pours a somewhat clear gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like bready malt, caramel and some herbal hops. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma to me. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's easy enough to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this was a pretty straight forward festbier, worth a try if you get the chance.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This decent little fest pours a very
light golden with a moderate head of white foam that sizzles to a thin ring.
Nose of herbal hops, light caramel, and light spicy hops. Flavors follow the nose
with caramel malt, subtle breaded malts, and spicy herbal hops. Mouth feel is
medium, lightly buttery, smooth, light carbonation, and a nicely balanced finish.
Overall, a solid fest!
Cheers

12oz undated can poured into a mug at fridge temp 5.9% ABV. The beer pours bright yellow gold in color with rapid vanishing head. Gone in 30 seconds, not sure on color. No lacing. The aroma is mild with pale malt. The taste is more bittersweet pale malt with negligible hop flavor, moderate bitterness and slight diacetyl. Mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, ok.

Poured dark golden with less than an inch of white foam, dissipated quick. Clear appearance with moderate carbonation. Malt foward taste, very smooth, a bit watery feel. Good beer for the style.
