Poured from a 12-oz undated can into a goblet.
Look: Dark brown with an inch and a half light tan head with decent retention and leaving decent lacing.
Nose: Not a lot — a little roasted malt, a very little spice.
Attack: A little more malt and a little more spice than in the nose.
Finish: Some bitterness late in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium thin, plenty of carbonation — perhaps a bit overcarbonated for the relatively mild flavor.
Overall: This is one of the more drinkable Winter Warmers I’ve had; “drinkable” isn’t a characteristic I tend to associate, though, with Winter Warmers, which I tend to experience more as “sippers.” Were it not for the 7.5% ABV, this would almost qualify as a session beer. I do wish the flavor profile was a bit more aggressive.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little winter warmer pours a dark
reddish brown with a nice head of kahki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping
pool, and sports some nice light lacing. Nose of muted candy sugars, subtle cinnamon,
faint brown sugar, and light ginger. Flavors surprisingly hit a nice note over the muted
nose with brown sugar, light ginger, subtle clove, light dark breaded malts, and faint
subtle cherry. Mouth feel is medium, smooth, medium light prickly carbonation, and
a lightly dry finish.
Overall, this one could easily be called a Belgian Strong dark, but either way it is
pretty nice
Cheers

Single can from Party Town
Murky brown color with no head. Faint cinnamon aroma.
Taste has much stronger notes of cinnamon and nutmeg than what the aroma suggests.
Taste and feel is somewhat flat.
Was a nice experience but would not go for it again.
