Poured from a 12-oz undated can into a stout glass.
Look: Deep golden, with a massive off-white head with good retention, and leaving adequate lacing.
Nose: Strong malt, with some sweet spices, gentle hops, slightly floral.
Attack: Some malt, some chocolate, some vanilla, a little cinnamon. Actually not as much flavor as I would have hoped for after the excellent nose, or even for a white stout.
Finish: No notable difference from the attack.
Mouthfeel: Rather thin, though adequate carbonation.
Overall: Being a fan of white stouts, I was expecting more depth of flavor. This is, however, quite drinkable, and though I don’t think I’d buy or order another if I were seeking a good white stout, it actually could be an acceptable session beer.
