Yields a pale golden color with a huge, stable and froth head atop.
Aromas offer a fair amount of fresh cut grass and rain soaked lawn among bright malts, leading with bread dough and a whiff of caramel.
Mouthfeel on this is truly smooth, yet vivid and lively with a late effervescence among a light bodied beer.
Tastes of soft straw among prominent, dry and spicy hops, together with a note of sweet honey. Its mid palate forms a more pronounced maltiness consisting of slightly toasted grains and crackers, adding a well working balance to the lingering dryness. Finishes soft and almost creamy with utmost dry hops, developing a pleasant spiciness which opens up the palate for a nuanced sweet malt peak for just a split-second and a longer lasting, bitter aftertaste.
Hop centric, heavenly soft with a gentle malt coating, this is a great Pilsener.

From the bottle, it pours a hazy amber with a modest head. A little fruity and malty in the nose. The mouth gets some grass and grain with a modest bit of flavorful bitterness. More of a Kellerbier than keller pils, but enjoyable!

Much more of a traditional Kellerbier than a Keller Pils.
Weiherer never seems to impress me all that much.

Half litre flip top, poured into over sized Tripel Karmeliet tulip.
A: Pale amber, hazy, the head didn’t hang around very long, some lacing, also a
few bubbles.
S: Sugar beat, farmyard and noblehops, quite possibly Saaz?
T: Curious mix of sour dough, rye crisp bread and some fruits that have
been kept a bit too long. Also had notes of sugar beat. Sharpness came in at the finish.
M: The carbonation was non existent, medium body, smooth.
O: The title suggested a mix of two styles, but it was much more Kellerbier than Pils,
the early sips promised a lot but it never quite delivered.
