Pours a hazed orange color with a bigger, stable white head.
Smells of dried grass, lemon zest and sweet caramel among old oranges.
Has a soft, smooth mouthfeel, showcasing a light bodied, refreshing beer.
Tastes of fresh cut limes, toasted barley, bakers chocolate covered toffee and dry garden herbs. Brings a lively effervescence to the palate then, with sweeter malts becoming a little more pronounced, nontheless balanced by the complex hop flavors of this. Finishes with a mineralic quality, whole grain bread and wet hay among maintaining limes and lighter oranges.
Very refreshing with a fantastic balance and out of this world smooth mouthfeel to it.

Pours a cloudy, deep, dark amber coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity, caramel malt, tropical fruit and just a hint of pine, although that caramel malt very much dominates the aroma. Taste is a good balance of biscuity, quite caramelly malt and resinous hops, with tropical and lighter citrus fruit notes of mango, pineapple and grapefruit, as well as a strong dose of pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some tropical fruit and pine resin lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is kind of a lighter version of their India Pale Ale, with a certain West Coast character, but a bit too malty for a Pale Ale in my opinion, with a very strong caramel malt presence. The sweetness is very nicely balanced by equally strong pine resin and a good bitterness, but this does feel somewhat heavy for the style all in all. I can quite enjoy a nice WCIPA with a strong malt backbone, but I expect a bit lighter and more refreshing flavor profile from a Pale Ale. Still a very nice and perfectly enjoyable beer, but not quite to style in my opinion. Excellent body and mouthfeel for the ABV though.
