De tercertiempo. En copa hefe de Bavaria. Comprando birras online. Perfil maltoso corpulento aunque de trago fácil. Se echa en falta algo más de chispa

On draft in Munich. Fresh keg. Pillow top white head. Lace. Slightly hazed golden color.
Haven’t had a Keller this good in a while. Fresh, bready, biscuity, earthy, zesty, and a touch of citrus. So soft and fluffy. Just a wonderful feel to it.
I could drink a ton of this one.

From the bottle, it pours a hazy light amber with a nice, fluffy head. The nose gets some grassy scents. The mouth gets the light malt flavor and a touch of bitterness. Yum!

Poured from the bottle into a pils style glass. Good pop on the swing top.
Thick two to three finger frothy white head. Thick lacing and retention. Body color is an opaque lemon yellow, with light rising and small carbonation. Good half finger puck left while drinking.
Muted but simple nose. Chewy malt density, and a bit of lemon fruit but subtle. Very nice but not much going on.
Palate flavor is quite nice. Chewy lemon and slight apricot in the mid palate. Nice bready light quality but not a lot of density. Mild herbality a bit on the finish, almost pilsner crisp a bit slightly too.
An ok to go Keller pretty nice.

Half litre bottle, poured into Tripel Karmeliet tulip.
A: Very pale golden, slightly hazy, medium head, moderate retention, some lacing.
S: Grassy, which points to noble hops like Spalt or Hallertau.
T: Initial sweetness from the malts, grassy, bitter doughy finish, slightly watery and a bit bland.
M: Light body, moderate carbonation.
O: Not bad, but forgettable, with so much strong competition in the region it needed to do a bit more.

A: Pours hazy straw-colored with a tall white, compact head. Dissipation is slow and leaves interesting lacings.
S:A bit on the lighter side for this style; malt and bitter hops. Crisp-bread-like. Citric and faint smoked ham in the back.
T: Rich maltyness and rich bitter hops as well. Rather crisp and clean. Nettles and hay. Citric.
M: Medium-long bitter aftertaste. Body is medium while carbonation is mild.
O: Nice and well crafted. I had this one with barbequed hamburgers - it was great!

Purchased two bottle at Kaufmanns in Bamberg.
.5L bottle in tall beer glass.
A- Deep Gold with three finger head; great retention, some lacing.
S- lightly toasted malts, hints of citrus and floral notes; light waifs of hops.
T- Toasted malts, hints of a bready quality. mellows to a mild bitter aftertaste.
M- medium bodied, medium carbonation.
D- This is a really great beer. Perfect example of a Bamberger Kellerbier. Wish I'd have bought more!

500 ml bottle
Pours clear golden with airy two finger head with excellent retention that leaves patchy lacing. Aroma is flowery hops, noticeable yeast and hints of citrus.
Taste is fresh and smooth malt nicely balanced with crisp floral bitterness. Medium mouthfeel with rather lively carbonation.
A perfect Keller. Simple yet very tasty and refreshing.
