Crowler from brewery. Medium brown pour, kind of flat. Aroma is straight up brown ale, nutty. Taste is also plain dark malts, mild sweetness, dry finish.

On-tap at the brewer/winery. Pours a dark amber color with light showing easily through the liquid and a decent dose of fluffy off-white/off-khaki head. Toasted grains, light cocoa, nuttiness, like a very stripped-down stout (which is good for a brown, I think). Easy drinking malt-forward brew, no off flavors.
