Impressed with this; a style i don't typically gravitate toward. Roasty. Dry chocolate. Balanced bitterness.

16oz can.
L: Perfectly black but the one finger of mocha head is short-lived and leaves minimal lacing.
S: Cocoa, coffee and raspberry.
T: Follows the nose. The raspberry/red berry really comes through. Bitterness is moderate.
F: Nicely smooth with a slick mouthfeel. A tingle of carbonation on the tongue. Dryness builds over time.
O: A solid stout. Was served very cold. Would have benefited from being a little warmer.

Went to a Korean restaurant in October of 2023 and (surprise!) this was on tap. The Ebbs Stout draft has a nice caramel head over the stout body. This is a straightforward, full flavored stout that benefits from the lack of fancy flourishes: no barrel aging, no coffee or other flavors, no excessive alcohol, no nitro. I'd like to find this served from cask.

Dark and lovely in the glass. Good head and lacing.
Lots dark roasty malt with mild, earth and florals. Notes of chocolate and coffee are abundant.
Smooth roasty deliciousness. Mildly dry front opens onto an expansive, gently sweet chocolate palate with a smooth latte like finish. Coffee and earth as I swallow. Dry and clean. No trace of the abv.
Great medium full feel. Mild and creamy carbonation. Super drinkable.
A winner in my book. Had this on tap. Will be looking for a six pack. A top tier beer.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that gradually died down, leaving a collar around the edge and some lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dark and roasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, somewhat "airy" and rather smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There is some dryness in the finish.
O: The "airy" and smooth mouthfeel of this stout made it both easy and pleasant to drink.
Serving type: can

Canned 2020/10/28
Pours a large frothy thicker tan almost 2 finger head with great retention, messy lacing, very dark molasses brown almost black color
Nose has more of an Irish stout, roasted malts, cocoa, some spice and hint of licorice, dry roasted malt and a little coffee
Taste brings more roast and spices, licorice again, a little char and roasty black malts, little cocoa, cinnamon even, a little French roasted coffee, dry finish bit of spicy hop med bitterness
Mouth is med to a little fuller bod, med foamy carb
Overall pretty good, starts like Irish stout, then goes into American stout
