This was about to go on tap and this years has an antioxidant Açaí (ah-sigh-ee) is the high-energy berry of a special Amazon palm tree. Harvested in the rainforests of Brazil, açaí tastes like a vibrant blend of berries and chocolate. Several half barrels are being donated to raise money for a young cancer patient.

Wow, what an experience! And not too many people will ever get to enjoy this fine brew.
This was the darkest winter lager I have every sampled, almost an opaque black with a fine tan head, laced the whole 23 oz glass. A meaty malt aroma, followed by the best quaff I have ever partaken. At first, I asked if someone spiked my brew with a shot of Jack Daniels while I was in the bathroom. But no, the waitress explained that the winter lager is aged in discarded JD whiskey barrels.
The resulting taste was rich, robust, and Jack laced, malty sweet starting and well balanced hoppy finish. I wish I could have many more of these tasty treats. However, the 7% abv, or more, packs a pretty good punch.
