This is a limited release beer whereby all proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Association of America (you know, the pink ribbon people). This is the Irish Stout with some added mollasses, brown sugar, and acai (a bean from Brazil).
Appearance is an opaque black beer with a nice, tight, tan head with little retention and minimal lacing.
Aromas are of chocolate and coffee and dark roasted malts. Not a whole lot of brown sugar in the aroma. Some molasses is detectable, but this is mostly coffee, which is fine by me.
Nice flavor with a full bodied feel to it. Nice drinkability, although it gets a little heavy toward the end. Not a bad brew by any means. The best thing is the proceeds go to a good cause and the tap handle is one of those pink ribbons, which is a nice touch. A nice beer for a good cause.
