Tasting notes from 8/18/10
On tap at the brewpub
Poured a dark brown colour with small amounts of white head and moderately visible carbonation.
The nose was roasted matls, coffee and some chocalte. Slight bitterness as well.
A porter-like taste of roasted malts, specifically coffee with hints of chocolate.
Light mouthfeel, lightly carbonated.
This was an enjoyable beer and basically tasted like a porter to me.
