Pours clear brownish amber, off-white head retains as a film.
Aroma is mildly of some bready malts with hints of nutmeg.
Flavor is full of spice; nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, cardamom, gingerbread, and some oakiness over mild dry malts. Finishes with a nutmeg bitterness.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
A glass of Christmas, but beyond that it's not super interesting. The underlying beer is average and gets elevated by the spice addition. Not something I would miss outside the season, but it hits the spot for a little holiday cheer.
