A brewery in an old renovated building a block off of I-68.
I stopped in on my way back from Pittsburgh to pick up some beer to go.
A nice open space inside with ample table seating and a bar. Plenty of parking out front.
Not sure why I didn’t rate the beer I bought, it was pretty good as I recall.
I’ll have to make it a point to stop again next time I’m in Cumberland.

Modern rehabbed industrial space just off the highway in the downtown area. L-shaped bar opposite the entrance on the right, half service, half seats about 10, with some tables inside and out on the sidewalk. 9 beers on tap, the 2 i had were solid. Friendly bartender and clientele. Food truck.

Located on the edge of downtown Cumberland in an old factory. Modernized space, open and airy, small, lower tables. Some tables outside on sidewalk, no shade. No food. Good service and beer.

Quite new and right on the Cumberland & Ohio canal. High ceiling, polished concrete flooring, modern indoor lacquered wood picnic tables, with an occasional dog under a table with a bowl of water. They had the usual beer styles and a Belgian dubbel and Pre-Prohibition porter, as well. One of the best breweries in this part of western Maryland.

Right, and I mean RIGHT off of 68. Close to the downtown and the historic areas. Nice open space tacked onto an old historic building. Found the 3 beers I tried about average. British ale, strawberry/rhubarb sour and a 'dank" IPA which was only fair. Simply not dank enough and a bit out of balance. The sour was the best. Service was right on top of things and friendly. A decent place to stop. Good selection overall-3 IPAs and then others. When I visited downtown 6 years ago there was nothing. I would go back and try again. Just was not wowed over. Don't use the urinal in the men's room. Too low and a massive splash effect!

Update 9/3/24-visited again today and beers were much improved. Very good porter and an excellent double IPA. Worth a stop for sure these days.

Nice new brewery just off of I-68 at the Footer Dye Works Building. Tasting room with plenty of tables and chairs. You order beers from the huge chalkboard behind the bar. They usually have food trucks and live entertainment on the weekends. Their beer selection includes wheat, porter, belgians, IPA's, an amber ale, a blonde lager, a stout, an english pub ale, a pale ale, and my personal favorite-Bearded, a double IPA. They even have crowler's to go. A great place to enjoy a cold beer and a quick bite in Cumberland, MD.
