On-tap 12/11/2021 at the brewery’s taproom in Providence, RI, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains wheat, lemon, light caramelized malts, Belgian yeast and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of wheat, Belgian yeast and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some sweet flavors of lemon, caramel and some spice come in along with a touch of booziness. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready
M: Smooth and very crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, well-disguised strong kick, good high-octane representation of style. This is a solid beer to drink for a while if you’re looking for something stronger than usual within the style.
