On-tap 12/11/2021 at the brewery’s taproom in Providence, RI, served in a Willi Becher pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep golden-brown color, with a short off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains strong spices, pumpkin, caramelized malts, some peppers and a touch of hops.
T: The taste likewise starts out with a strong burst of spices like nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. Then some flavors of pumpkin and caramel come in. The malt character is hearty and the hops presence is mild creating a good balance for the style. The peppery heat climbs into the finish. The after-taste is spicy and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Tasty and complex, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style. This is a decent beer to drink for a while if you want the pumpkin & fiery pepper flavor combo.
