Pours one shade shy of black with an opaque clarity. Nose expresses a big hit of roasted coffee and dark chocolate, followed by brown sugar and notes of vanilla. Taste consistent with nose; however, vanilla is in the forefront and coffee immediately follows along a backbone of dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is light-medium with a slightly assertive carbonation for the style. Overall, solid and well-balanced.
