16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace. It smelled of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Nice coffee taste with caramel and toffee.

On tap at the brewery taproom.
Appearance. Dark brown but nearly black and opaque. Good beige head.
Smells and tastes a bit soured, which is probably not the brewery's target. Plenty of coffee notes and some dark dried fruits.
Overall. Disappointing.

Received a 16 oz can from a friend 6-25-21. No canning date; sampled 8-3-21.
Beer poured dark brown with a very nice head with the original pour.
Nose has a touch of coffee and chocolate with a touch of astringency in the background.
Taste is a medium toasted malt base blended in with patent chocolate malts that are infused nicely with the right touch of coffee. Finishes balanced.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and fairly smooth.
Overall a solid porter that has some nice characteristics. Will have to grab a pint at the brewery soon!
